Vision & Mission

NHTV (founded in 1966) is all about managing experiences, especially in tourism and leisure, which are experience industries by origin. Today, successful companies are adopting a more broad-based and customer-oriented approach, founded on the interaction between brands and consumers. In other words, they design a total experience, hence the name 'experience economy'. NHTV wants to disseminate its knowledge of imagineering in a broader context through Imagineering Academy.

The mission of Imagineering Academy is to bring together experience oriented corporations, experience oriented business schools and universities in order to stimulate new research programmes and fuel the debate to find solutions to the challenges presented by the experience economy.
